Consolidated Real Estate Services Inc. only collects personal information from third parties which is necessary for the conduct of its business and personal information is only used for the purpose for which it is collected.

1. General Inquiries

During your visit to our website or to a CRESI location, you may choose to submit information about your personal identity, such as your name, address and telephone number. The information may be submitted in-person, by email or by using inquiry forms. The personal information is used by CRESI in order to contact you and respond to your inquiry.

2. Tenants/Unit Owners

Personal information such as credit and rental history may be requested from prospective commercial tenants and is required from any prospective residential rental tenants in order to support the credit approval process. Prospective tenants who complete an Application for Residential Tenancy are required to provide credit, rental history and employment information as well as other personal information that is used for identification purposes. Additional information, such as emergency contact information, is required from commercial and residential tenants and from condominium owners in order to enable CRESI to respond to medical or other emergencies pertaining to an individual tenant or unit owner or to a specific unit or suite. Vehicle particular information assists CRESI with its responsibilities in regard to parking control .

Tenants and unit owners who use the website to submit on-line inquiries or requests to the Property Manager may also be required to submit limited personal information in order to enable CRESI to respond to the inquiry.

3. Employment Applications

Prospective employees who complete an Application for Employment are requested to provide personal contact information as well as employment and education history. Your personal information will be used in order to complete the employment application review process, however, your existing employer will not be contacted without your consent.

Security of Your Information

The Consolidated Real Estate Services Inc. website includes password protected log-in areas for employees, condominium owners and commercial tenants in order to safeguard personal information which is being submitted or accessed over the internet. Data collection and transfer in the log-in areas and on all on-line inquiry forms is also protected with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption. If you are concerned about the security of submitting personal information over the internet, you may wish to submit personal information by regular mail, facsimile or telephone.

Access to personal information that has been received by CRESI in the course of conducting its business is limited to the employees of CRESI who require the information to perform their duties, and to those otherwise authorized by law. All employees of CRESI are required to abide by our commitment to privacy in the handling of personal information. At CRESI, personal information is also protected from unwarranted intrusion through the use of physical and/or electronic safeguards.

Personal information is retained only for the time that it is required for the identified purposes, or as required by law. Personal information that is no longer required is destroyed.

Personal information that is collected from you is not shared with other parties without your consent, unless it is required in response to a search warrant or other legal enquiry or order.

Any forms that are used to collect your personal information specifically disclose the extent to which any personal information will be shared, with your consent.

Access to Information

Subject to providing satisfactory identification, you may access any personal information that Consolidated Real Estate Services Inc. has collected about you. Requests should be submitted, in writing, to Consolidated Real Estate Services Inc. and we will reply within 30 days of receipt of your request. You may verify the accuracy and completeness of your information and may request that it be amended.
